Access/Selection Method for AAC

Anyone with complex communication needs will require a way to communicate their basic needs, express themselves, and enjoy the activities they love in their daily life. In the world of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), the means of providing access for AAC users to control a communication tool is called an access method. Sometimes, it is also referred to as an AAC selection method. This can include touch, mousing, eye gaze, and scanning.
