Snap Scene is a scene-based communication and language learning software that can be utilized across the life span. Snap Scene provides in the moment learning opportunities and turns everyday moments into chances to learn communication naturally. In this course the participants will be provided with an overview of the development and communication targets of Snap Scene, learn the simple steps and tools to create visual scenes on the go, as well as ideas for activities to use and implement the software with a variety of age populations.

Presenter: Erica Iffland, CCC-SLP Erica has treated, assessed, and consulted with individuals across the life-span. She has worked in early intervention, pre-school groups, out-patient pediatrics, elementary and middle school, as well as adult day program consultation and skilled nursing facility settings. She has a passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is a member of the Tobii Dynavox Learning Services Team where she develops and conducts internal and customer trainings, creates implementation resources, and presents at conferences about AAC topics.
