Representation Matters: Supporting Diversity and Inclusion in AAC (4A106)


Description
With heightened awareness and sensitivity to the importance of diversity, cultural and linguistic competency, you've probably been compelled to evaluate how diversity and representation is acknowledged in classrooms and therapy sessions. This session will focus on key action items to consider when identifying ways to better support diversity and cultural representation when supporting AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) users and their families.

-List four resources available to integrate into therapy and classroom practices to improve inclusion and representation
